    Harmony Remote--- Nonsense??

This is driving me mental. I got a Harmony 720 and tried to get it to run my RSP-1098 and it wont select the right inputs for watching a bluray. I have the bluray into the tv with hdmi and into the reveiver with multi-input. I even tried to get it to go right to video 3 and it will only click on to cd input. I want to put it under my back tire and back over it!!

Please, if anyone can advise me, much appreciated.!!

Here is a link to a Harmony forum where you can ask other Harmony owners:

From the sound of it, though, your problem is probably that you need to increase the delay between turning on the device and sending the input selection command. I had that problem with my TV, and I increased the delay to 4000 milliseconds and now it works fine. The problem is that some devices need to warm up a couple of seconds after being turned on before they are able to accept a new command.

If you use the Logitech software to set up your remote on the web (I hate having to do it there, but it does work well), you can do this by selecting the device (the Rotel I assume), then 'Adjust the delays', and then (probably) set the Power On Delay.

Good luck - please spare the tire...
