    RT 1084, your thoughts

    Just picked up this unit used very little. I didn't see too many comments about it in the forum. Who else has one and what are your thoughts about it? I'm somewhat interested in the Sirrus, but will use it mostly for the HD FM and AM stations.

      Sounds better then my old NAD tuner and as good as the RT-1080's I've installed.

      I don't care for the sound of Sirius or XM, but I'll probably get the tuner pack and try it out for a few months.

          At least you can use the digital out for the Sirius to try to improve the sound.

              Just got word today they have the new 1084 tuner in stock.

              Price is $799 I believe. Looks pretty good, AM/FM/HD radio. Can control up to 3 sirius tuner models (priced at $50 each).

              I looks like the Rotel RT-1084 HD Radio / Sirius / AM/FM Tuner has been discontinued and I can not find a dealer with any stock. If you know a dealer with stock, I would love the contact information.

              Any word on the release date & cost for this new tuner. Home Theather mag had a statement about this tuner. It's suppose to recieve the HD radio signal.
