    1068 and Dolby Digital Mono

    Happy New Year everyone!

Ok, so when I'm watching a movie with a Dolby Digital Mono soundtrack (i.e. most Criterion DVDs), the soundtrack always defaults to the center channel. Like a mad woodpecker, I find myself tapping the 2 channel button on the 1068 to disperse the mono sound to my L and R front speakers, but to no avail. Is there an easy way to get the sound to my front speakers when playing these movies?

You'll probably have to listen to the analog output of the DVD player so you can apply the stereo surround modes. I would think PLII-music with the center width set pretty wide should do well on mono sources.
