    New RSX-1056 vs old RSX-1065

    Another newbie question.

Beside the obvious difference in old v new, 100w/ch v 75w/ch, and much newer DSP/DACs in the 1056, what are the little differences??

    Thanks again,
    Matt

    Matt,

The RSX-1065's natural replacement is the RSX-1067 which has 7 channels of 110W etc...

That aside - the RSX-1056 sounds noticably clearer on stereo than the RSX-1065 and has a more dynamic HT sound field on all modes... It also have the excellent Dolby ProLogic IIx mode which does amazing 7.1 sound (but you need an extra 2 chanel amp to enjoy this...

So the "little thing" you ask about is it sounding better...

    Geoff
