    A51 - unbalanced inputs how?

    Hi all,

    Planning to purchase an A51.

But, I have a Tag Mclaren AV32r processor(unbalanced outputs only) currently and how do I connect the Tag to the A51 (balanced inputs only)?

Yeah, I know I should replace the Tag with a C1 or C2,...but my credit ratings is low at the moment

    Any ideas, guys?

The A51 accepts analog RCA interconnects as well. So you're set.

I currently have my C1 hooked up to my A51 and A21 via unbalanced interconnects. The reason is that I have VERY efficient Klipsch speakers, and people with Klipsch have reported hearing a slight hiss while using the balanced connections since it raises the overall output by 20db.

No need to apologize for equipment. We all have budgets and have to make sacrifices. None of us have unlimited $$$!!!

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

Hehe, ain't that the truth! Chris, funny...I forgot you had Klipsch speakers too...so do I, but I have the RF7's, and I think you had the Legend or Heritage series? Whatever the case, I run balanced XLR's but I have no hiss? Maybe it's because of the power conditioning units I have?

Soft (and loud!) hiss from your speakers with C1/A51?
          by netarc
I'm trying to troubleshoot a *hiiisss* emanating from the speakers when the C1 and A51 are connected and powered up. At a steady state (no inputs playing), the hiss is actually quite loud ... one can hear it from all 5x speakers quite clearly, even from a distance of 10'!

          Tried toggling...

Halo Ax1 Balanced Inputs Level Question
          by wildfire99
This may be an Anthem issue or a Parasound one, but I'm thoroughly confused about it. Here's the question:

I recently switched my interconnects for my system (Anthem AVM30, Halo A21 and A51 amps, plus Behringer BFD for the sub) from RCA to XLR. I dutifully switched the amps to 'Balanced'...

          A51 and A21 amplifiers vs. A52 and A23
          by Chris D
This is something I'm hung up on. Of course, I would love to have 7 JC-1 mono amps, one for each home theater channel, (talking 2 rear surround speakers, just to be clear) but just don't have the funds. In choosing whether to go with the A51 and A21 for a total of 7 channels, or the A52 and A23, it's...

          Parasound C2 with the A52 or A51 or 1205A ???
          by john4618
I'm getting a Parasound C2 and want to know which amp to use, the A51 at 250 watts RMS x 5 –or- the A52 at 125 watts RMS x 5 –or- should I just use my 1205A that I already have ???

I can't demo these so I have some questions:

          1. I’m told that my 1205A is a little...
