Update on Parasound’s New 7.1 Channel Surround Processors and Receiver.

Thank you for your patience. We’re moving forward steadily on the new C 3 and HDP-70 hi-def surround processors and the HDR-77 receiver. Their performance is already stunning. Many of you have asked why they are taking so long. To be blunt, we underestimated the technical challenges of getting HDMI 1.3 performance 100% correct and we apologize for the delays and frustration this has caused.
We will also subject our new 7.1 processors and receiver to a vigorous search and destroy mission for bugs and glitches. We’ll spend as much time as necessary until we’re satisfied that our customers won’t be involuntary guinea pigs and encounter faults we should have found. With this in mind, we’ve moved back our anticipated deliveries until the first quarter of 2010.
We’re taking advantage of the longer-than-expected development and refinement process to include a useful new feature into our new 7.1 channel models.

Dolby Volume addresses several annoying problems. First, Dolby Volume "evens out" the volume differences between channels or between programming and commercials. It also enhances your listening experience at low listening levels.
