Dang it... looks like CES will be rather non-eventful for Parasound. I just got this notice today from Parasound's official public relations:
The bad news is, we'll have to wait even longer. (hopefully not more than a few weeks, though) The good news is the tease of "major introductions". To be fair, many companies are also announcing that they are introducing items "post-CES" or early 2006, not just Parasound.
I recently learned that Cyberlink will be releasing multiple applications for Blu-Ray **AND** HD-DVD at/after CES, so it looks like both of those formats are coming sooner rather than later.
Hear Parasound's big JC 1 monoblock amps driving huge Soundlab electrostats...no Parasound staff or AV/Cedia type products here. The the company's highly regarded AV processors and amplifiers are being used for demonstrations by THX (South 1/20901), Ethereal Home Theater (South 1/21214), Atlantic Technology (Renaissance RD-8) , and Fujitsu (at THE Show, Bldg 10, Ste 2007). Parasound will have major introductions Post-CES.
