    Hi Mikael,

No news from CES. As you know, we don't time product releases or announcements around the CES schedule.

    Best regards,

Not true. The B&W Group has made new product announcements at past shows.

Just to clarify, neither Bowers & Wilkins nor Rotel displayed anything at CES that hasn't been discussed or shown at other shows. Classé showed new Delta products that were also shown at CEDIA 2016, with shipping dates, prices, features to be determined.

Some years there is more to report because our product development schedules happen to coincide with CES.

          Regards,

          Patrick

Again not true. The 800 Series Diamond made its debut at the 2010 CES. Other than rumors and speculation, no other prior announcements surfaced. That said the Group typically does not make CES debut announcements but to say they don't was misleading. Now that CEDIA is in limbo I question if the Group will even continue to use that venue for product releases.

Are you reading something different then I am? He never said they don't, he said they don't time releases or announcements around the event, not that they don't. If the timing works out they do, if not they don't.

Yes. He is stating that the Group does not make (initial) product announcements at CES and when they do make announcements it's only after they were announced somewhere else. This leads the reader to believe that CES is not or has not been a venue (a player) where they debut new product releases which just isn't so. I do agree, though, that CES has not been their usual place to do so (CEDIA has been mostly) and for a while they suspended their attendance to CES altogether.

                  Still not reading that.

neither Bowers & Wilkins nor Rotel displayed anything at CES that hasn't been discussed or shown at other shows
That is a direct reply to the last CES, not all CES shows. You're implying he said "B&W nor Rotel DISPLAYS anything at CES that HADN'T been discussed or shown at other shows."

we don't time product releases or announcements around the CES schedule.
Some years there is more to report because our product development schedules happen to coincide with CES.
Again, as read, they don't time release schedules around the show schedule, but if it happens to coincide with it they announce new products.

Patrick has been a great resource around here and it seems you've only come in to this thread to call him a wrong for some reason. Even resurrecting a nine month old thread for the purpose of doing it a second time.

His first comment was all inclusive...

His second comment reiterated this AND implied it was serendipitous, AKA not planned for CES...

Both were not correct. It is an older thread that I overlooked until recently. Still, people that conduct searches may stumble across this information and therefore it should be documented accurately.

By the way, where is Patrick?
