B&W matrix 3 series 2 requirements help

Hi guys

Recently my uncle was clearing out his house and he gave me a pair of his B&W matrix 3 series 2 speakers that were laying around, since getting them I've been looking for a possible reciever to power them, but I've been getting different advice from many people on what I needed, and how much I needed to spend, can anyone please tell me what requirements I would need in a receiver to properly power these guys?

With much pleasure I used the Matrix 3/2 many years with a Quad 606 power amp.
The follower of the 606 was a 909 amp.
Please have a google.

I think it's more important to have a stable amp than one that suggests a lot of power.
