Unison Reserach Performance for 800d?

Dear BW friends,
has anybody tried to drive the 800d with the Unison Reserch Performance integrated valve amp? I read a test stating that it would work and am wondering whether there is more real life experience out there?

Hi Falcodean.

In my setup, I use a Unison Unico 100 with B&W 803S.

The Unico 100 is a very performant hybrid integrated amplifier (tubes+mosfet) with 220 W RMS/8 ohm and 500 W RMS/2 ohm.

The Unison Research Performance is a great amplifier too, but I don't know if it's a good match for B&W 800Di.

In my opinion, you should write to Mr. Sacchetti - Unison's engineer - to ask him about your question.
