B&W and Rotel

I have just purchased a set CM8 speakers and are quite thrilled about them.

My next purchase will be a new set of amplifiers. And I think i have decided on Rotel.

The preamplifier will be a RC-1580.However I am not quite certain about which power amplifier to choose.

I am debating the RB-1572 and the RB-1582.

But which technology, in Your opinion, works best with my CM8s? The classic class AB or the class D?

Can You help me to choose?

Yep.. Go for the Class A/B... I have auditioned the Rotel class D stuff and found it lacking in the high frequency dept..

Brian7500,

The best thing to do is have a dealer that will let you audition each in home. If that is not an option, listen to each amp at the dealers with familiar material.

Both are fine amps. I've had both types of Rotel amps and liked both. You ears will let you know what to do.
