    legit b&w crossover cap?

hi, do these look like genuine articles to you?

i bypassed with them on my midwoofer circuit and the sound has indeed become warmer, yet im not sure if i've gained much else besides it by replacing the dayton 1% cap for it. the leads on the supposed b&w caps were pure copper. i verified this by scratching one of them with a knife. i suppose that's another good sign... should these be real things, do you think i would hear further benefit from replacing my all my other dayton caps for them without anymore bypasses?

Replacing p.s. caps in older amps
    by whoaru99
Since I've read that usually it's capacitors that go bad in older amps, I've been contemplating replacing them in my mid-80's Yamahas as preventative maintenance.

As of now, there are no signs of impending failure that I can see. No leakage, no swelling, no discoloration, etc. So, this...

A few questions regarding the use of caps
    by Matt M
    Hallo,

A few questions on the topic of capacitors that have accumulated over time:

    1. I have a self-designed speaker that I have been happy with for long enough a time to consider doing a premium-parts cross-over for it. Currently the crossover requires two 4.7uF per side...

Madisound buyout caps for NatalieP crossover?
    by Xander
I am building a set of NataliePs, and just checking to see if I can save a bit of money, without impacting the sound quality.

Would I be okay replacing the 10, 20, and 30 uF capacitors with these (obviously, using 2 or 3 of them in parallel for the larger values)?

    Replacement "dust caps"?
    by Kyle
So, many of you may remember how my kitten destroyed the aluminum tweeter on my LCR60S3. I was told by someone here on the forum that I had nothing to fear, and could replace the "dust cap" on the tweeter for a nominal fee.

Well, the cat knocked the grille off of one of my DM603S3s...

What are your favorite low volume (small) inductors and caps?
    by JonW
    Hi Folks,

After a long time away from speaker building (I had a kid), I’m getting back into it. The current project is a quite small speaker, with an internal volume of only 5 liters. I’ll start another thread on the design and goals after things are farther along.
