I posted a message about my stolen Classes.
I have got them back!!!!
They were so stupid to try to sell it on internet on a secand hand market site.
Of course I recognized it.
Me and the police fooled him and made
appointment to listen.
Some later he was in jail. It was not the thief itself but a reciever.
Some stolen cabling found back, some was already sold.

I have to ask if you can live with the fact that your gear was stolen. I know if it was me, I would feel weird about it and have to get brand new units BUT I am extremely ANAL....

Gerardhn, that is very good news indeed! :T I am very glad to hear it. Hopefully, you will have in place some additional changes, deterrents, plans and/or protections to make it more difficult for a repeat occurance.

Btw, does anyone know if there is some sort of international database of serial numbers of stolen merchandise that include B&W and Classe equipment to check against when looking to purchase equipment on the used markets, such as internet sites like ebay, audiogon, audioweb, etc or local b&m sources like used audio resellers, pawn shops, thrift stores, moving sales, etc?

I replaced my old equipment from top to above with my returned classes. (cd pre end)
To my surprize was the biggest change when the 500 pre came in. The veils were removed and the diamond began to live.
