    B&W DVD

Has anyone watched the new DVD from B&W yet? Wow! some of those tracks on there are amazing! The Sara K performance was great, you got everything, the room echos, the sound of her fingers sliding up and down the strings. Well done. Also, the name of the artist escapes me right now but there is a track on there that has a guy speaking some really scary poem over background noise, he walks all around you, whispering this dark poem, when he walks behind you you can almost feel his breath on the back of your neck. Really spooky! :T

Hey Soundgravy, I have that DVD too, but I haven't been able to listen to it yet. It came inserted in their fancy hardback broucher. Although, I hope to play it soon!

Took me under a week to get (by accident). I emailed B&W customer service about getting some pics of the 804S so I could do some furniture shopping and they sent me two 8x10 pics and a hardcover catalogue with the DVD. Got it in the mail today. haven't listened to it yet.

Is this a ball point pen or roller ball? I received a nice key chain.

A copy of the DVD comes with the latest issue of Stereophile also.

Its a Parker rollerball, I went on the UK B&W website and found that you can order the full Sara K Nautilus tour. I really like the performance of the one track that they give you on the promo DVD. The only bad thing is you cannot order it if you live outside the UK!!! :nonod: RATS!

I received the DVD in about two weeks after requesting online. However, I did not receive any nice perks, like a pen, key chain, brochure or magazine. Maybe only spending a few thousand dollars instead of tens of thousands precludes me from such bonuses.

I received mine within a couple weeks. I thought it was a fantastic disc. Great demo tracks.

Now if I only had B&W speakers too listen to it on.

(they're still on the wish list :B )

I have that DVD. There is something odd about it. It will not play in either my Panasonic or Sony DVD player. (It will however play on a Rotel DVD player.)

Regardless, the video isnt anything to get excited about. I was, however, able to use my computer to extract the audio and put it on a CD so I can at least listen to it. The sound is great!

If you like Sara K, Chesky recently released her "Play on Words" album on SACD.

hmmm I have applied for that DVD about 5 times now and still nothing!? - perhaps they don't like me after all the BAD THINGS I HAVE BEEN SAYING ABOUT THEM!!! (just kidding, I love B&W but hope that gets the B&W's distribution team's attention!)

I got mine in about 3 weeks or so. Definitely cool watching the speakers get built and all the demo stuff on it.

My favorite was when (I think this is when it was), but they were doing a break-in on the speaker and they had a violin playing in the background, man...even though I only have the 604s, I could've swarn the violin was in my room. I even thought, wow, those speakers sound sooo good, I wish mine sounded like that... then I took a second and said, wait, those ARE my speakers sounding like that... so I can't imagine what the 802s sound like with that same part!!!

                                  Definitely makes me want them!

Isnt it amazing how a great recording makes any speaker come alive? You should try listening to Norah Jones, her recordings are great, they sound just as good as that DVD.
