    B&W P2's

    Hello All,

I found a pair of B&W P2 in a local "Pre-Played" store. Will my Yamaha rxv3000 run them?

      Crossover & Ohms
      by Stockinv
As a newbie I've seen the terms "crossover" and "ohms" when discussing stereo and/or home theatre. With regard to amps, I know it's ideal to have watts doubling as ohms half, i.e. 200 watts at 8 ohms, 400 watts at 4 ohms, etc. Could someone explain these two concepts? Specifically,...

6 ohms speaker on Rotel amp?
      by Brian482
First post on forums, been looking at them for a while though ^^

I'm currently looking into finally buying my gear and am looking at Rotel components and my speakers I'm thinking about are rated at 6 ohms. I heard from someone at work who has the same type of speakers with a Pioneer Elite...

Rotel RB 1080 and 4 ohms
      by yanies
I have a set of Magnepan MMG 4 ohms and a Rotel RB 1080 Power amp that supports 4 and 8 ohms

Comparing to what I hear that doesnt happen in my case.
Should I hear a bit more louder or double in this case?
      Or there...

More speaker help - Ohms and Watts whats?
      by macvidguy
Thanks for all the Bose bashing you provided. With regard to speakers and assuming I win the battle for Denon 2805 which is 7X100 and has ratings for 6 and 8 Ohms (100watts). If I understand right (my conservative thinking) I need to get speakers that support at least 100 watts right? If they are...

      N802's: 4 ohms or 8 ohms? - B&W's recommendation
      by McGlentosh
I've read so much info and advice regarding which taps to use when connecting N802, in this and other forums, that my head was spinning, so I e-mailed B&W to get their recommendation, as follows:

"I am powering, via bi-wiring, my N802's with a McIntosh MC352 amp. The
