I am not familiar with either product. However, according to the B&W website, the specs for the P2s are
Drive Units: Treble frequencies: Ionic Unit

As a newbie I've seen the terms "crossover" and "ohms" when discussing stereo and/or home theatre. With regard to amps, I know it's ideal to have watts doubling as ohms half, i.e. 200 watts at 8 ohms, 400 watts at 4 ohms, etc. Could someone explain these two concepts? Specifically,... -

I have a set of Magnepan MMG 4 ohms and a Rotel RB 1080 Power amp that supports 4 and 8 ohms
Theoretically I read that 4 ohms multiply the power level
Comparing to what I hear that doesnt happen in my case.
Should I hear a bit more louder or double in this case?

Thanks for all the Bose bashing you provided. With regard to speakers and assuming I win the battle for Denon 2805 which is 7X100 and has ratings for 6 and 8 Ohms (100watts).
