Igor
I will be over tonight with my copy of The Fifth Element Ultimate Edition at the agreed upon time (as long as the 18"-28" snow blizzard coming to Boston doesn't hold me up). No, not even that would delay me if I had an invite to listen/watch your dynamo looking system. WOW! Enjoy the goods.

Wish it was but it's not actually mine...worth posting though!?
I found this on eBay a while ago, poor fellow chose to depart with all of this astounding kit due to a heartbreaking theft (they took all of his electronics which were easier to carry I guess), and got scared of owning such a setup again in case they returned? :M"...if it's too loud, you're too old!"- Bottom

Hello Igor,
I hope you have balanced speakers and not just only single-ended, because if you don't you just paid alot of money for nothing. I hope for your sake, Classe doesn't come out with another new software version for the SSPs, updating yours will be a nightmare. Not to mention the fuse issue.- Bottom

igor what can I say, that others haven't? Not much....that system is probably THE best system I've seen to date. it's like something you see out of "Home Entertainment by Robb Report". So luxurorious and elegant. Too bad the newer center channel is out...you should just get it, after all the $$ you poured in it, what's another $5000 going to hurt? Then again, with a pocket-book of your caliber, you might just get matching 800 S2 speakers all around.- Bottom

Igor, so much has been said about your system. It's wonderful when you can building a system when price is not an object. When you can purchase, truly...what your heart desires.
I have two questions. Why did you go with this system when money was not an object? Not to say there is anything wrong...God forbid. But there are a number of exceptional products out there, but you settled on two items which are close to our hearts, B&W and Classe.
My second question is what was your system before you made this incredible upgrade. Naturally, there is a possibility this is you FIRST home theater system. If that's the case, my humble opinion is that you did it right. :T

Thanks guys!
Thanks for all the kind words guys. This system took a very long time to build and it's something I'm very proud of. As for the new 800 series... All I'm going to say is stay tuned... Here are some more pics of the theater and also one of my hi-fi system.

Igor, thanks for the add'l photos. Once again, AWESOME! :thud: Regarding your two channel setup. Could you elaborate on the difference in sound from the n802's and the Signature n800's? So few own sig 800's it would be intriguing to hear differences from someone who owns both.

One thing I don't like doing is using too many words to describe sound because really how can you? The Sig 800's simply offer the listener so much more information than most other speakers including 802's. I've heard many great hi-fi systems in my time but there's something magical that happened when I put this system together, something I have not heard in any other system regardless of price. That something is the feeling that makes you want to continue listening on and on and on. Often I find myself losing track of time and literally listening to 2 or 3 albums in a row all the way through. I'm almost afraid to hear the new Diamonds which will undoubtedly make their way into my theater but I will have to wait for a Signature model to come out before I make any changes in the hi-fi system.- Bottom

Igor, I can identify myself with the "magical feeling" part, that is what got me hooked too. What I already run into with "just" my N802's is the limitation of recordings. Can you recommend some titles? I listen to everything except C&W...
What do you use as a source?
Cheers.- Bottom

Check out this recording (if you can find it) Brazz Brothers "Ngoma" and if you want your woofers to sound like they're going to pop out of the cabinets - Boz Scaggs "Dig" All the electronics in the hi-fi system are Classe Omega, that's the new SACD-2 CD Player- Bottom

those are nice pics, I know I definitly admire those gear and wish I can ever afford those. But Claude DD actually claimed that he knows someone that knows exactly which store it's from. Then...I don't know and don't care if it's "fraud". But it's definitly not cool, if igor actually just posting a pic that he got from some store and claiming that he owns the gear.- Bottom

I don't think we'll be hearing from Igor anymore. And please, everyone, take a look again at Igor's "two-channel room,'' with the Tiger's eye Sigs and Classe gear. Look at the cheesey drapes hanging behind the setup. It's a hotel room. Obviously from some audio/video show. Still, they're very nice photos. Only "Igor'' shouldn't be pawning them off as his setup.- Bottom

This was your post "Yeah a couple of guys at my work figure it's a store in Vancouver Canada. Are you an audio/video fraud Igor?"
I didn't see this great amount of detail in your response. Also it said you "figure" it to be --- not that you are sure. I didn't see any other postings in the "Posting" that gave me any more background on where you are coming from. However, it turns out that you are right though --- it is a home demo room. And you are right, I haven't seen those kinds of set ups here. But, I have learned he is the owner of the shop. Even so, I don't think this makes him not a fraud.
My point was I didn't feel like it was nice to say are you an "audio/video fraud". I put myself in his shoes, and felt I would be offended by this kind of statement. That's all. Although, I don't have as nice of rig as this guy --- I can (and will someday when my wife lets me) throw a lot of money into my system. And it would really piss me off if someone accused me of having a system that seems too good to be true by calling me a fraud.
I hope you can understand where I'm coming from now. That's all.
Thanks!

My reply
Case in point Eddy!!! There was some indirect misrepresentation of the said system. How about I retract the "fraud" remark and just call him a truth twister?
What's so wrong with posting the truth to the best of our knowledge?
So now he owns the store.Hmmmmm.- Bottom

Well, it is a nice system, but I believe his is overhyped compared to the one on page 1 that has 800's as left and right and 802's as a rear.
Dealer or not, it is nice to look at the setup. I do agree, he should be more up front about himself though. I hope Igor does not leave, to have a dealer as a part of the board could be an asset.I'm just sittin here watchin the wheels go round and round...- Bottom
