New HD disc info from CES

Some pretty groovy news. First, great news for everybody except those who are die-hard that their particular format has to win, the dual format player interestingly named "Multi Blue":

So... if Blu-Ray uses blue colors for packaging advertising, and HD-DVD uses red, would a disc (not player) containing both formats be purple?

in the end I want HD content and dont want to wait years to enjoy it. CES has shown me that both sides are here for a long while, and there are too many good tittles on each format to only support one. I wanted 1 to throw a knowck out punch, and ill admit I wanted it to be HD DVD. It didnt happen.

I will be buying a LG player or BD stand alone to add to my HD DVD stand alone in 2007.
