    TV as a media server?

I'm not sure if this is the proper forum to post this in or not but I had a thought as I was looking for a new plasma TV. One of the Pioneer models had a USB interface and I was wondering if there are any TV's that will play music and/or videos from the USB port? If there are I would think this could act as a sort of media server.

I've been out of the loop a bit lately so I'm not sure if this is something a lot of people do. Is it? I think it'd be pretty cool at least.

Well, I know my new Samsung flatscreen LCD has a USB 2.0 port that can show pictures and stuff. Not sure if it can do everything you're thinking of, or not.

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.
