Which Jimi Hendrix DVD should I buy?

I've watched a couple of Hendrix DVDs (can't remember which ones) and wasn't too impressed. I think they were cheapies. I'm interested in lots of stage footage and good quality sound of course.

Which Hendrix DVDs are generally regarded as the best ones?

Although Jimi is arguably the best guitarist ever, it appears that no good footage of his work exists!!!

Thanks Cyclesberuff. Isle of Wight is the same recommendation I got from someone at a party last weekend.

Hope you enjoy it, Isle of Wright is the first makings of the Band of Gypsies with Billy Cox and not Noel Redding on bass. They would later add Buddy Miles to make the Band of Gypsies.

hey biggie the woodstock stuff sounds really cool, got to get those.Right now I'm looking for any footage of Roy Buchanan, one of my favorites, but no footage to be found.

Also a very good pick is Allman Brothers Live at the beacon theater
It's worth watching just to catch Derrick Trucks on guitar. The 2 cd set Set One & Two are excellent. The acoustic set is first rate, they are talented musicians.

Oh well enjoy your Jimi !!!
