You like warm sound don' t you...? Denon...Classé...PSB...
Really nice duder :T
Question.....Do you notice any difference with the cable stands ?
Are you happy with the positioning of your mains ?

I smelled mine, but it didn't smell that great. You know, show and smell.
I should have been more involved here, but unfortunately, I have drifted far away from my 2 channel experiences. Just to many irons in the fire.

My two-channel system doesn't work very often but when it does it has crystal clear highs and pinpoint imaging....
It consists of living with two women in the house (one of which is now a teenager 8O ) and having both Jazz and Tasha yelling (usually at eachother and not me thankfully)
Seriously though, nice gear guys :T It is a little depressing though :

Not the greatest pictures, but they'll do for now. I don't know, but it seems like the flash washed out some the wonderful, fine wood-grain detail. I guess with that glossy finish, and the flash, you can barely see the grain.
When you see these speakers in person, the fine woodgrain detail is beautiful.
Me no see no pic's.... :

Those look REALLY good Bammer! Very nice work, indeed. One question though: are you in a gym? If so, why? :scratchhead:.

hey duders!
Looks like this will be added to my set up
The Plinius 8200 MK1 upgraded....
Sound is wuite something on this marvelous piece....
The mids are sweet and in your face.....I like'em like that ops: .....I'd say the emphasis on this integrated was mids....bass and highs are there but because the mids are so present well they seem to be less there....
However the detailing of certain pieces of music I have listened to is quite :E ...Stunning actually...
Pretty gutsy amp.....2 * 175 watts at 8 ohms.....or 2* 300 watts at 4 ohms....
Phono Stage on this thing is quite impressive.....Probably also because it's so strong in the mids that that really helps vinyl....
Will be trying this out on my Pro Acs tonight!Got a nice rack to show me ?- Bottom

Guess I'll put my two cents in here...
My two channel starts at my service panel with a whole house surge protector. I also have some local surge protection, but these whole house units are a good idea.
Then I have two dedicated 12guage (20Amp) circuits running to directly behind my system using high quality wall receptacles.
Each dedicated circuit has a quality Levitron 90 deg. angle AC plug and 10amp power cable feeding a high current EMI/RFI filter and high quality receptacles.
For my 2 channel sources I use an ARCAM ALPHA 9 CD player and for SACD I use a DVP-CX777ES.
These sources feed a BRYSTON processor in analog bypass mode which reverts to an analog BP25 preamp when selected.
This feature allows the integration of HT and true 2 channel into a single system. I use Bryston's own 1.5 meter balanced cables.
The processor feeds a Bryston 4BST 300 Watt per channel power amplifier.
I use Bryston locking banana plugs and Bryston 9 guage speaker cable.
The Bryston amp feeds a pair of ProAc 3.8 speakers.......
Sounds pretty good actually............. :E

Awesome setup brucek! I thought about chiming in regarding my 2-channel experience with the Bryston SP 1.7 and selecting analog bypass for results (just as you say, how it reverts to an analog BP25 preamp). With this pre/pro, we get the best of both worlds (in our opinion of course!).jpiscitello@ameritech.net- Bottom

Oh........ My ....GOD :E :thud:
Bryston and Arcam...classic set up....one of my buddies has that exact same set up.....but no SP1...just a BP25.....and no 3.8's!
Dude....tell me how do the 3.8's sound in comparison to the 2.5's......?
:TGot a nice rack to show me ?- Bottom

Thanks guys......Bam, the 3.8's just seem to give that fuller bottom end when used on their own without a sub....
Actually in two channel I do enable an sub out of my processor that I pass through a BFD, and then low pass at 35Hz to a Servo-15. I know a sub is against the 2 channel religion, but what the heck...- Bottom
