Ok, I'm tired of my turntable player just setting collecting dust. I was previously using my Yamaha Receiver as my phono preamp but I moved it to my workbench so I can drive audio equipment I'm working on. So, I'm looking for a decent one that isn't too expensive. I would like to keep it under $200. Any suggestions?
Reasonably priced Phono Preamplifier?

Project have a few really decent ones that sell for under and even well under 200. These seem to be really well received by the press.
Creek and Cambridge Audio have plenty in that range too.Vincent.
I don't want the world. I just want your half.- Bottom

Hey Joe,
I agree with Vincent, the Pro-Ject units are said to be a good value.
I would add:
Cambridge Audio Azur 640P
Bellari - VP130
Music Direct, AudioAdvisor, Needle Doctor and many other on-line stores are a good place look and read.
What type of TT are you hooking up? Are you going to get a new cartridge, too?- Bottom

If you find yourself drawn in by its sound, you may want to look at getting used Rotel 9 series 2-ch pre, it would be an relatively cheap route taking the performance to the next level.
As always, JMHO.- Bottom

Thanks for all the input. After doing some looking around, reading, and various other research I ended up getting a Project Box II. I really like it and am totally surprised by the sound. I was stupid all of those years I used my Yamaha Receiver as my phono pre-amp.-Joe- Bottom
