    Classé Cp800 IOS APP "not responding"

    Grrrrr
    Maybe somebody could help me solve my problem with the Classé IOS app.
    On all my Idevices It says: Cp800 - discovered then the app is non responsive.

    Everything was working find until I changed my router for a D-Link DIR862L.
    With other devices like my NAS I was able to do a soft reset to refresh the IP address and so forth.

    Note that the CP800 is available on the network, It's responding with Airplay on my MAC, but the app is non responsive.
    I reinstalled the app but no result.

    Was you guys think I should do ?

    Your new router is probably blocking some (network traffic) ports, or has DLNA/UpNP disabled (I'm not sure which the cp800 needs). To narrow it down, you could put your old router back in service, create a DMZ on your new router, and/or enable DLNA or UpNP.

      Are you running Ios 8 on all your devices? Are you using dhcp in the CP800 or a static ip address?

        - UpnP on the Router : Yes ON
        - CP800 : DHCP with static IP Address YES.

        - IOS App Status : "Discovered" but app not responsive when I want to make a selection.

        - All my OS and IOS up-to-date. I reinstalled the app but no difference.

          Sorry I don't understand , either you are using DHCP or a static ip address in the CP800 you cannot do both at the same time.

            I assume Eric means it's set to DHCP, and has acquired an address.

              mmm, if it's "discovered", it must see the CP800, but the CP800 is not jiving....

              Have you tried putting the original router back, just to rule it out?

              Umm, have you tried turning it off and on again? The CP800 that is? Nothing like a good reset to fix things!

                Hi Mike,
                Yes, I tried to reinstall my old Cisco router but it's kaput.
                Yes, I switched off the CP-800 with the on/off on the back, even unplugged it but no results.
                Yes, the Cp800 is set to DHCP (there's no much choices). I also pushed the button to reset to default network setting but no results.

                Should I reinstall the software ?

                    I run two separate wifi networks in my house. One in the theatre where my CP800 is and one for the rest of the house. I have the two linked via Ethernet over powerline for internet access. Playing around today when I moved my ipad to the house network, I have exactly the same problem. I will play around a bit to see what is happening. It works fine on the local wifi in the HT. It is discoverable but wont work , the same happens to my Marantz Processor, so one of the two devices is blocking something.

                      I think it's time for Classé to update their app. I hope they do it often.

                        SOLVED
                        Now everything is back to normal.

                        I returned the D-Link D-Link DIR862L, I didn't trust it.
                        I got instead an Asus RT-AC66U Wireless AC1750.
                        Now, the App is working perfectly and by-the-way my wireless network is responding much faster.
