    New Classe cp-800

Just purchased a new classe cp-800. Will be used with Mcintosh amp and Dynaudio Focus 340 speakers.

Software version 1.20 or 1.02 can't remember- I'm at work. It is newer than the version listed on the B&W support site.

Will post pics when the whole house audio install is finished.

I just updated my system on this message board. I love my system with the classe as I'm able to use Itunes with puremusic to see my entire music collection and control it from the comfort of my chair. I'm getting better sound now than when I had a dedicated CD player.

Sorry about the quality of the pics, I'll take better ones at some point and post them on photobucket. The pics show my "audio closet" that holds all my audio equipment so you can see my high end stereo on the left in the grand prix audio rack. On the back left, I have a glass rack holding my xbox, router, modem, gig switch, control 4, apple tv, cable boxes, and running spring audio jaco. The rack on the right holds a denon, control 4, blu-ray player, and a cary 5 channel amplifer along with my ps audio premier power conditioner.

I am waiting for my Shunyata talon to arrive to replace the RSA Jaco. This will hopefully improve the sound further.

                Need a litte information please

I have a Rotel RB 1080 amp and 200 watts per channel.

I was thinking of going with a Classe CA 200. However, I was told the CA-200 would be too warm and not enough sparkle. So I decided to come here and ask is there any one who has had experience with the two amps and tell me how far apart they are in tone? Would the Classe be a huge step up in performance and fidelity from the Rotel? Thanks. If I decided to go with the Classe, it would be before I could listen to it seeing they are only available used.

                Thanks
