    Classe with b&w 802d

    Hi,
My question is: does classe cp2200 with cp-500 and cdp-102 work very well with b&w 802d?
Or its not the best suitable choise for them?
    Any body heard this combination?

    Thanks

I can't say if its the best choice, but its certainly going to give impressive results. I'm using an ssp-800 and a ca-2200. A 100 watt amp doesn't quite have enough low end grunt for the 802d's, the ca-2200 on the other hand seems to drive them very nicely.

I use a Mac Mini as a music server, hooked up via HDMI to the processor as my source. I should imagine the cp500's output is similar to the ssp-800, I use balanced interconnects, but I've no first hand experience TBH.

I would give Mcintosh amps a try. IMO the best gear to go with B&W 800 series and not only that, Mac gear isn't made in China!

I gave a try to McIntosh with my 803s and i didnt like it.. Too coloured sound..

My pick is Krell with B&W, specialy FPB series of Krell. After trying different McIntosh amps (501, 275... with C2300 preamp), finnaly Krell FPB300C make my listening music and not testing the electronics or cables or something..

              Greetings
