    Hot

I was wondering how warm does your SSP-800 gets?

    Standby 40C

After five hours of operation: 49C

My SSP gets the hottest of all the Classe stuff. IIRC, 49-52C, whereas the CA-5200 hovers round 45-48C and the CA-M400 are 36-39C. You think they had a 20-drive RAID array in there.

Do any of you ever get a blank red screen?

I noticed it happens when the SSP-800 has been on for several hours playing?

So I guess I am in the norm it makes no sense that it gets so hot, that will end-up reducing the lifespan?

mine gets really hot: around 52C. I installed two ball bearing fans and when these are on, the SSP 800 stays at 45C. According to Classé, the normal operating temp is around 50C
