Ssp-800 Home Button

Hello to all,

After upgrading to the latest SSP-800 firmware, my HOME OSD button doesn't work anymore. The others buttons on the remote work fine. I've already turned on-off the rear button from the back of the unit.

Any idea or thought? does it happen to you guys?

I didn't know there was a new firmware, until I saw your message. I'll have to try it, as it is supposed to further fix the cd truncation issue.

Just to be sure I understand the problem, when you say "Home OSD" what exactly do you mean--when you touch the Home button on the remore, it fails to appear on your monitor, or it fails to go to the home page on the SSP screen?

It fails to appear on the TV monitor.

I did not know that the Home page could ever appear on the monitor. If it did, it would kinda get in the way of seeing the movie. :E Home page is not included as an OSD event.
