Just wondering if anyone has heard a CAP-2400? (CAP-2100 and a CA 2100) I have a CAP 2100 currently and have not been able to sell it. I am thinking of adding the CA 2100 and just sticking with it instead of taking a loss on the CAP 2100. If anyone had any thoughts on it I would love to hear from you. They will be powering a new set of 803 diamonds.

I've never heard the combo but have seen the PDF from Classe that shows all the peices/parts you'll need to assemble the unit. Power increase is incredible. 400 wpc @ 8ohms & 800 wpc @ 4 ohms :E . Should probably be more then enough power for your 803's! But power is one thing; how does it sound is the question. I also own a CAP-2100 and whould be interested in how this turns out if you choose to pursue this upgrade...The second place winner is the first place loser.

Yes I ordered the kit from Classe and have a Ca 2100 on order. I still have my Cap 2100 for sale so if it sells I may have a complete kit for sale. I will let you know when it gets here. I just am hoping it has enough power to fill in the bottom end. Right now it is just not powerful enough to work those drivers. I have had a Mc352 hooked up and it has plenty of bass. So I am hopeful!Comment
