EXPERIMENT with Classé SSP-800 & B&W 802

Hello I was wondering if one could use the Classé SSP-800 auxiliary channels to create the ultimate 9.1?

Here is what I have in mind, I would like to use the Auxiliary channels to have the same signal as left and right. All speakers would be at the following

Center 0 degree, then 30 degree increments

Yes, the Aux channels can do that. Whether it would be the ultimate 9.1 or not is a matter of opinion. I'd think not--from my armchair perspective.

You could do it, but would need to do dolby pro-logic processing between front right and rear right, rear right and rear back and so on for the left side. Otherwise you wont get a signal that will blend the channels..
