    XLR or Speaker Cable... Help!

    Hi All.

I'm currently building my dedicated room.

I need to know where's the best to put my amplifier

    CA-3200 to drive front speakers.
    CA-5100 to drive surround/back speakers.

The thing is, I want to put my electronic to my right.
If I put my electronic to the right. I'll have to buy 35' of speaker cable. (Will I lost quality due to the long distance?) I was thinking about putting the ca-3200 to the front and bring sound with XLR cable, this way I'll just have to buy like 10' (or keep my actual spkr cables). I'll achieve the same thing with my ca-5100. (I'll need about 40' of wire if I put the amp to my right)

Dunno what is the best. Esthetically/Best sound?
Any advice would be really appreciated.

    Thanks

I use 10M balanced interconnects to the CA-3200 close to the speakers and keep the rest of the electronics to my immediate right.

You are welcome, you should get some Canare cables, Canare L-4E6S Star-Quad Microphone Cable, the pro use them for very long runs with Neutrik EMC-XLR Series terminations
