    Just out of curiosity

    Hi guys,

Stupid question, on the CP 700 I noticed that volume indication on numeric scale and horizontal line are different.

For instance 50 ( absolute scale) which represent 1/2 of max 100 is displayed around 1/3 on the horizontal bar.

Is it correct to understand that 50 on the logaritmic scale of dB is +/- equal to 1/3 of max power?

If it is anything like the SSP-600, the two options are db level, or +/- of reference 0.
I'm just sittin here watchin the wheels go round and round...

No I was just referring to the difference between displayed number ( beeing relative or absolute) and the horizontal bar...

Ciao there birdy. Its NOT a stupid question!
Its just that the number displayed is decibels and the horizontal bar is percentage of power used (so to have these decibels showed on screen).
