    Classé Remote Interface on Ebay

There is a Classé Model RC-1 Remote Interface with remote control for sale on Ebay right now. Anyone with legacy models that have the RJ12 jack on the rear panel and would like to operate their amp remotely should not let this interface slip away. The RC-1 will trigger up to 6 amps in 2-second sequence. It is extremely rare. I have never seen one on Ebay until now. ttp://cgi.ebay.com/CLASSE-AUDIO-REMOTE-INTERFACE-for-amp-ca100-200-300-etc_W0QQitemZ120180991606QQihZ002QQcategoryZ14973Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Glen, do you use a similar device for your system?

          Now's your chance SG.

Thanks for the heads up Glen. I didn't notice it in your rack before. Probably because of its low profile and stealthy appearance. Nice.

I dont need one anymore, I sold my CA101's some time back, my new setup uses the mini plugs. Would have been handy to have awhile back though . I never really understood why they used that type of connection.

I've been seeing that auction on eBay for a while now. $1,000 for a used RC-1 and RC-4 remote is awfully steep, even if they are as rare as hen's teeth. The RC-1 retailed for $395.00 when new. I don't recall what the remotes went for, but certainly not as much as $600.00.

I also did not see the power pack in the picture, and found out that the unit listed for $395 from Classe, but they didn't have any left. $300 is a nice touch to not have to individually power on my three amps, but beyond that, I think I'll pass.

                    Thanks

FWIW, there is no power pack. The RC-1 gets operating power from the RJ12 jack of the amplifier its connected to.
