CAV 180 compared to CA 5200

I currently have a CAV 180. Would the CA 5200 be a significant upgrade? I would be using it for 5 channels of a 7 channel home theater. Thanks.

Hi

I owned a CAV180 and replaced it with a CA5100 last year.
The upgrade was quite significicant, notably in term of clearness, details and
neutrality. The CAV can go a bit lower in the bass, but 5100's bass are more
steady and rich. The CAV180 is a bit warmer however.

The 5100 and 5200 are very close in their reproduction (the 5200 have more reserve),
and I don't think you take a big risk, buying a CA5200.
