    CDP-502 Reference Disc Player?

    Anybody heard of this one? It's supposed to be combination of the CDP-300 & CDP-202. Retail around $8500 USD. Anyone?

      It was on the latest price list I have and it is the CDP-300 and CDP-202 combined. Since they are not doing the SSP-900 they might have killed the CDP-502 as well (this is just speculation on my part). I'll find out and post it as soon as I can.

          It is being sold by Overature in Delaware. I think that it is a universal player, except for SACD, has 1080p upconversion, but does not have HDMI 1.3. I have heard that Classe is coming out with successors to the SSP 300 and 600 and that they will have HDMI 1.3. I have not heard when they will be announced. The price is supposed to be around $8,500 for the SSP 600 successor.
