Hey guys:
It has happened a few times. When I put a standard CD audio disc into the CDP-102 unit, I hear noises like it's reading it, but the display continues to say "insert a disc", so it does not recognize the disc. I wait like 30 seconds and nothing. Then I eject the CD and put it back in and the unit then recognizes it. This has occured three times with three different standard CD's. Overall, considering the total number of times I have put CD's in the unit, this has occured about 5% of the time. I just purchased the Player new last week and it has about 35 hours in it.
Does anyone else experience the same with their CDP-102? Is this a typical issue with this unit that one must live with or is it time for me to call my dealer or Classe for a replacement? Could the issue resolve itself with more break in/usage?
Thanks!!!
Dave
