amp break-in

The first few hours of play, I noticed some changes in the system, but now if there are any changes, they are very subtle. The manual states 300 hours to break-in, but my amp seems to have opened up already. do you guys really think it takes 300 hours? is there more still to come? Im greater than 48 hours straight now...

You need "up to" 300 hours. In some colder climates this maybe less than what's need and in warmer climates more. I can't say if I have noticed my amps open up more because I have a whole system that I broke in but I do notice some subtle soundstaging improvements and more warmth overall.
