Dayton curved cabinets?

What ever happened to the Dayton curved cabinets through PE? They no longer sell them, but I do see quite a few speaker manufacturers use the same cabinets. Do you think Dayton now exclusively sells to these companies and this is why they are no longer available?

Dayton was experiencing QC issues with their vendor. They switched to another, and now I guess things didn't work out well either. I still remember when they would occasionally have the 1cf cabinets for $100, each.

The cabinet factories in China have sharply reduced in number and prices have increased from those still in business. At this point PE has not been able to find a supplier with the pricing they prefer. I had been one of their largest customers and now have switched to production here in the USA.

It really is a bummer, those were some pretty dang nice cabinets for the price. Really made this hobby a lot easier for those times you just wanted to play around without going all out.
