Marrying a plate amp to a dual voice coil sub driver

There are 2 wires exiting the amp and 4 terminal posts on the driver. I want to make sure I wire the driver correctly!

My assumption is amp red to driver red 1, driver black 1 to driver red 2, driver black 2 to amp black.

Does that make sense (hopefully, and if so) and is that correct?

That makes sense if you have 2 ohm voice coils. If you have 8 ohm voice coils connect all the red terminals together and all the black terminals together.

Thanks Bob! I have dual 2Ohm coils, so I wired them in series. The plate amp is 4Ohm stable.
