Statement II Spacing Question

My room is 9'-6" x 14'-6". Statements would be on the narrow end if furniture is placed as in the pic. This would put the centre line of the speakers under the recommended 8' - 12' width. Would this be a problem? If so what speaker would be as good as the Statements in this situation?

How far under? Mine are placed 7'8" apart and no one that has listened to them has been able to tell where the sound is coming from. It is as if there is a virtual stage where the speakers are standing.

Pretty much same (close) as your width.

Any of the Statements series, Finalists or Anthology's will perform fine at that separation distance. They are very similar to any other audiophile quality speaker. The good news is, they also work great when you spread them further apart.

Now I have to see if I can source most of the parts up here in Canada as our dollar is in the dumps.
