    Enviroment vs Anechoic measurements

    I read somewhere that the measurements in the environment usually have a higher sensitivity than those in anechoic
    dis true or not?

      IN general, boundary loading will increase the LF output in some frequency range- this can be viewed as an increase in sensitivity. Measurement in an environment can include so short a gate it is for all practical purposes anechoic as there is no time for room reflections to arrive at the mic.

      One thing important for environment testing is that if you plan to place the speaker system close to room boundaries, if you measure that way, you'll see the impact on the frequency response quite clearly, (and hear it when you listen) whereas anechoic measurements won't give you any clues about that.
