With IB subs, is in wall component rack ok?

In my new house I was hoping to put IB subs in my front false wall. However I will also have a component rack that will share this wall and not be enclosed so some air would escape. Would this make my IB system not work? If it wouldn't I guess I could do multiple sealed subs behind the wall too.

Would you be able to enclose the rack?

Backwave leakage will usually reduce the output at any given power level. Even if you seal off floor-to-ceiling where the rack is leaving a big box (but not quite as big as before) for the subs.

Well I had originally had my plans drawn up where my rack was in its own little room behind my false wall. I guess I could still go that route or build a plywood box w/ door around the rack...which would be ugly. I will try and get that sub-room back in the plans then. Thanks .
