The date has been set for this years Spring meeting of the NorCal DIY Audio Group. We will be meeting on SAT May 3rd from 9am - 5pm in the meeting room of Stonegate Country Club in Davis, CA (same venue as last year).

Whoa- so much going on at work, including having to be on call for Saturdays... well, I'm going to watch this, there's a small chance I'll be back to a more normal work life style by then. Now, the interesting question is whether there's any chance of getting the Wavecor Ardents running in time.

BTW, Charlie, I was in such a rush finishing the second cabinet last year that I had out of phase drivers in one cabinet, which which weren't caught until well after the meet. Don't want a duplication of that!

Let's hope we have a nice turn-out again for this.

The NorCal DIY Audio group meeting is getting closer: Saturday May 3rd is about a month away.

Here are some details about the day:

1. Lunch - no one responded about this, so I will just leave everyone up to their own devices for lunch this year. There are several options within 1/4 mile.

2. Tech Talk - we will just focus on DIY project demos. No Tech Talk or guest speaker this time around.

3. Pre-event demo scheduling: please contact me if you want to make sure to get your system into a particular time slot.

4. Playback system: Jon Marsh has volunteered to bring his excellent playback system again this year.

5. Speaker stands: we always need speaker stands. If you can bring a pair, please let me know.

6. Raffle: after some further consideration, there will not be a raffle this year. This caused some disruption last year, and I was left to dispose of all the crap that no one wanted.

7. Door charge - there will be a $10 fee to cover the venue rental cost.
