Hi all, first i want to thanks this great forum, for giving guys like me the knowledge to build amazing speakers..
I currently have statements, mini statements, and the monitors statements. Im looking for a new project, is not that i dont like my speakers but the update bug bite me again.So what would be a good suggestions for my next build? i see the finalist, but want to consider a couple of options.. i love the statements, and im looking something 80 % h/T 20 % Music,,as im already happy with my big statements for music at the den.
Second question is whats would be the difference of using for example a minidsp as a crossover (Active) instead of a traditional one (Passive) for example on the Statements or the Finalist just to know? I live outside USA so this can make easier my builds. i have measurement equipment down here wich i use to callibrate theaters from time to time. So not having to source all that parts for the crossover would help me a little.
