    Statement Louder one side

Lately I found out that one side speaker (R) is louder than the other

This happens after my PA blown out.

The Right speaker seems still making a good sound but just feel dull

I did change the cable from left to right to eliminate whether my equipment is the one that causing problem and I did check with different PA but the result is still the same.

How would I know that the speaker is broken (since still making nice sound just dull compare with the other)

Should I check the cross over?

    tks

If you have any way, even an in expensive tool like a smart phone based audio measurement, check with that. When you say one side sounds dull, this is fairly diagnostic of a blown tweeter, or tweeter high pass crossover. If you do an independent check on each channel, this should give you a good starting point for identifying the problem.

AudioTools on iPhone is one example.

If you determine it is the ribbon, the element can be replaced at a low cost by Madisound. The driver does not need to be replaced. :T

Indeed, I was rather pleased when I found that one. Simple, but effective.

That's a good one. "Spectrum Analyze" is another decent one.

Check any resistors in series with your tweeter. Compare measured values across speakers. If this isn't the issue, its likely the driver.
