That part is easy. In working on this, the USB receiver/DAC and power are the gaps. I hope to have a single small board to answer shortly, though 16/48 limited initially. I'm using the rPI.

I'm still in shock that Logitech has been able to destroy both Squeezebox and Harmony Remotes. Boooooo!

I run Vortexbox on my backend. I guessed it was the same Andrew before clicking on the link. I'm hoping my Sqeeze never dies. If it does, not sure what I would do. Good to see some type of solution that is better than streaming to something like a Roku or receiver. Still not as good.

I still want a Logitech transporter for my 2 channel, a modwright version would be even better!
