    me, Me, ME !!!

The big question: will Jon Marsh make it?

Joining me will be Joe Jaques and maybe Mark Brasfield.

The celebrities include Siegfried Linkwitz, Nelson Pass, John Atkinson, Jan Didden.

I'll be there as well. I was going to bring my Aleph X mono blocks but they're woefully incomplete. I had thought about bringing my Sunflowers too if anyone was interested in buying them but didn't get much interest so I'll probably leave them at home.

      Looking forward to it!

It sounds like a great event this year, but my plan is to take advantage of the good weather for this weekend and be working out on the patio on the new cabinets- it's almost November, so there won't be a lot more 80 degree weekends in the near future. I should be able to get all the pieces finished for the top modules, maybe even get them glued up! That's got me jazzed for now... I have a target challenge from a colleague in Munich who's visiting the second week of December to have these put together- if I have even the cabinets done, that will be quite an accomplishment.

Please do report on the festivities, if you can.
I am so envious, what an opportunity to be able to spend a day with the likes of N Pass & some of the best DIYā€™s around in an informal atmosphere like BA.

The only thing better would be spending a day just watching over Jonā€™s shoulder. :W

Forgive the cross post from diyaudio:

              A few photos... nothing special:

I thought Nelson's F6 talk was very interesting. I learned more in that hour than I have in the last 5 years probably. The Class D talk was very interesting as well. I kinda wanna try one of the Hypex modules now.

                Sure can't argue with building.

I bought these to Burning Amp. They have the HDS tweeter in the waveguide.

                  Cool! :T

Now what do they look like, knowing now something about how they measure? (The picture isn't posting for some reason) Though, given a choice, I'd rather have just graphs like these than just pictures!

It's a cute little two way speaker, Jon.

                        NOW it display properly- cute!

Especially I like that the waveguide is actually LARGER in diameter than the mid woofer! Getting a little bit like some of those exotic woofer plus horn high end hi-fi systems!

I wasn't able to make it up that far north this year. Guess I'll have to catch the highlights on the net. Again.

Jon Marsh, I like your design. ;x( I'm still working my way up to something that detailed.

I'm on a different computer and the pic doesn't show up. It is on a third party site (?)

                            Glad you like it.

For me, this configuration is a development mule. The waveguide recesses the tweeter a little too far back, but I wanted to start with the full waveguide as a baseline.

Here is a pic of the crossover:
