Fairly disappointing performance, but to be expected considering the price. They obviously have fairly basic motors and the reference series doesn't cost that much more. It would have been nice if they'd put a shorting ring in the motor, I can't see that increasing the price by that much and then it would certainly give people a good reason then to buy these over the classics.What you screamin' for, every five minutes there's a bomb or something. I'm leavin' Bzzzzzzz!

Well we don't see how well they do bass, but certainly a use for them might be as the bottom end for a three way. I was kind of hoping that they'd have decent motors for good upper end performance, that way if you don't like the metal cone issues of the reference series, you've got a decent soft cone option. Having said that I think a lot of people would be quite pleased if Dayton offered a non metal variant of the more popular reference drivers.What you screamin' for, every five minutes there's a bomb or something.
