inductor help

i'm building cjd's mtm with rs150's and rs tweeters. for the inductors i got a pe#266-830 18awg 1.3mh and a pe#266-810 18awg .27mh any idea on how much i need to unwind to get to 1.2 mh and .25 mh?

You can get a cheap LCR metre off of ebay that will give you a close approximation. I believe they are 5% accurate for about $50.

+1, you have to have a meter. If you don't want to do ebay, any radioshack will have one. just don't save the $5 and get the analog one. the digital readout is much better.

9-10 turns off the 1.3mH and 4 turns off the .27 should do the trick.

Assuming the geometry of the inductor is fairly consistent, if you want to reduce the inductance by a certain %, you can reduce the turns by the same %.
