    Helps Pls... Biwire cat 6

    Hi All,

    Pls help me some idea construction on biwire cat6
    I mean like how may pair going to High and low

    Each doubling of wire area makes an equivalent of a wire three gauges larger. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_wire_gauge

    For example, one pair of 24 gauge wires are equivalent to a 21 gauge wire. You'll need 16 strands of 24 gauge wire to approximate a 12 gauge conductor if that is your target.

            It's a nightmare. I once did one with.. I dunno... it was the equivalent of 12GA wire or so. It took me two months. It sounds the same as zipcord. YMMV.

                I run 1 cat5 cable for the positive and 1 for the negative. KISS I always say. doing all that other stuff is just too much bother LoL.
