    Statement by Jim and Curt questions

    Dear All,
    I know may be this is sound stupid.
    I am planning to make this statement speaker.
    I knew that If I change driver I might need to change the crossover and the box layout.

    As you know that PE Sku 295-356 keep B/O and I have my other parts ready.

    Any suggestions that I can replace this with other woofer? I can not wait any longer :M and I don't want to change the box size (since it's already cut)
    I am looking at comparable 8 inch woofer, I am interested with this one PE#297-425.

    What do you guys think??

      Not a drop-in. Though I'll fess up to not running the numbers to verify that it won't be a proper match - that would take a lot more time than I have interest. So basing this on a quick glance and whatever experience I do have.

      Patience. Or find someone that has some around now.

          You can't just pick and choose what drivers to put into these Proven Designs. The designers chose them for a reason. Swapping drivers means You will be designing the new Xover :T

              Man this thread makes me feel lucky that I still was able to purchase the original woofers
