    Dayton ND105-4

Any designs out there using these?

They are on sale at PE now at 40% off. I'm going to pick up several since they're so cheap.

If I can't find any other designs to work off of thinking of working up a thin profile tower 2.5 MMTMM using a ND16FA-6 (also on sale).

Here is a TM. The Nano Neo by Chris Roemer.

I've had a pair 90% finished for about 4 months now. They are just sitting there waiting to be wired up. I just haven't found the time.

I believe there is a MTM in there too.

Not sure if this helps you much but I have just started working on a slim tower using the ND104-8 as mids for my brother in law. He wanted something slim but likes the look of a lot of drivers. The design is a WWWWMTM tower using the ND140-8 as woofers, the ND105-8 as mids, and the Vifa DQ25SC16-04 tweeter.

After doing some initial tests on the drivers this should be a pretty nice system. The ND105's do have some rising distortion in the midrange but the Vifa looks like it should be able to cross over low enough to control it for the most part.

Once the tower design is finished a matching center design will join in a WWMTMWW format. He is planning on using the tower design for his surrrounds as well. Winter weather may slow this project down a bit though!
